Tony Magaro is the Vice President of Human Resources at Southwest Research Institute. He is responsible for all areas of HR to include recruitment and employment, compensation, EEO/AAP, employee development, benefits administration, work/life, wellness, and compliance. Mr. Magaro is active in regional nonprofit organizations that are focused on workforce development and is a past coordinator of the San Antonio Compensation Association and member of the Resource Center for the San Antonio Human Resource Management Association. Mr. Magaro maintains his professional certifications as a CCP, SPHR, CBP, GRP and SHRM-SCPP. Mr. Magaro was the recipient of the 2017 Lois Baumerich Lifetime Achievement Award.
