Julie O’Hara Harvey is the Senior Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity (AA/EEO) Program Manager at Principal Financial Group®. With a career spanning over three decades, Julie has been a driving force behind affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across various organizations.  Julie joined Principal Financial Group® in 2021, where she has spearheaded efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization. Prior to her tenure at Principal®, Julie spent over 26 years at Wells Fargo, primarily in Human Resources. During her time at Wells Fargo, Julie collaborated with various departments to ensure compliance with affirmative action regulations and implemented proactive measures to address regulatory changes and trends. Julie's commitment to promoting equal employment opportunity extends beyond her corporate roles. She has served on the DirectEmployer Board of Directors and the National Industry Liaison Group, advocating for practical and effective affirmative action programs for federal contractors. Julie's leadership in these organizations has facilitated collaboration between federal contractors and regulatory agencies, fostering dialogue and shaping affirmative action and equal employment opportunity regulations.
