Joe Vele is a Senior Associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Joe advises employers on workplace legal and compliance requirements under federal, state, and local labor and employment laws, with a particular emphasis on the nondiscrimination, affirmative action, and reporting requirements enforced by the OFCCP. He has helped clients in the telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, and defense industries manage and defend OFCCP compliance evaluations, mitigate their affirmative action and systemic discrimination risks—specifically in the areas of talent acquisition and compensation—and develop legally defensible diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. Joe has presented at local ILG meetings and the 2021 NILG conference.
