Deputy Director, Division of Program Operations - OFCCP

Harvey D. Fort serves as the Deputy Director of the Division of Program Operations (DPO) for the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, DC.  Mr. Fort joined OFCCP after serving as Lead Economist in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy (OASP), Division of Regulation and Programmatic Policy, where he was responsible for providing subject matter and technical leadership on economic policy, rules, and legislation, for EBSA and OSHA within the Department of Labor. As a regulatory technician, Harvey advised the Department’s senior officials on labor–related policy and program matters. He ensured that appropriate economic and policy research provided by EBSA and OSHA were based on sound analysis for senior leadership to make essential policy decisions. Harvey oversaw the regulatory development process for EBSA and OSHA before rules were submitted to the Office of Management and Budget.  Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Labor, Harvey served as Senior Economist for the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) within the U.S. Department of Transportation. Prior to working with the FRA, Harvey worked with Federal Aviation Administration as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
