Carla Moore is Vice President of Point of Sale Strategy and Education for Home Box Office (HBO) in New York. She is helping to redefine the company’s brand training narrative, discover new sales approach strategies and develop a specialized sales training curriculum and continuing education programs for HBO sales brand ambassadors.
Her career with HBO began 20 years ago as an entry‐level sales trainer in Atlanta. Before transitioning to her current role, Carla was VP Talent Acquisition driving innovative talent management strategies to support the growing need for a more digitally adept, multicultural, multigenerational workforce at HBO.
The cornerstone of Carla’s career at HBO has been in Domestic Network Distribution, with her most recent DND role leading a sales and marketing team that served millions of subscribers by bringing next-generation products to market and leveraging HBO content across multiple platforms to drive subscriber growth.

Steve Browne is the Vice President of Human Resources for LaRosa’s, Inc. –
a regional Pizzeria restaurant chain in Southwest Ohio with 13 locations and over 1,200 Team Members.
Steve has been an HR professional for 30+ years and has worked in the Hospitality, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, and Professional Services industries in various HR roles.
He is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Board of Directors and has been a member of the Membership Advisory Council (MAC) representative for the North Central Region of SHRM and Past Ohio State Council Director. He facilitates a monthly HR Roundtable as well as an HR internet forum, called the HR Net, which reaches over 12,000+ people globally each week.
Steve is an accomplished speaker who has been featured at local, regional and national Conferences, Chambers of Commerce, HR chapters and businesses.

Charlotte A. Burrows, Commissioner U.S. Equal Employment
Charlotte A. Burrows was initially nominated to serve as a Commissioner of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in 2014 and then re-nominated in 2019. By unanimous vote, the U.S. Senate confirmed her to a second term ending in 2023.
Commissioner Burrows has advocated for strong civil rights protections and robust cooperation between the Commission, employers, and employees to advance equal opportunity in the workplace. She seeks to enhance the Commission’s enforcement of all laws within its jurisdiction, focusing in particular on initiatives to combat harassment, foster pay equity, and advance diversity and inclusion. While at the Commission, she has worked to increase the agency’s outreach to Native Americans, vulnerable immigrant and migrant communities, and other traditionally underserved populations. In addition, Commissioner Burrows is particularly interested in the impact of technology and big data on civil rights and employee privacy.
