Complete RFP Proposals are due on January 18, 2021, no exceptions.  Any proposals received after January 18, 2021 or those that are incomplete will not be considered.

A notification will be sent out around February 15, 2021 informing the parties of the selection/non-selection of their proposal(s).

No, there is no guarantee that if a speaker presented at a prior conference or conferences that they will be selected as a speaker for the NILG 2021 National Conference. Each proposal will be reviewed against the new and innovative topics and fresh perspectives especially in the area of how Compliance can gain a seat at the HR Table.

No, there is no requirement that speakers have presented before at the National Conference.

Yes, multiple proposals are welcome.  However, the same presentation may not be submitted in multiple categories (nuts & bolts, application, advanced).  The proposals must be for different themes and topics.

For pre-conference presentations, you should plan on a length of 75 minutes, inclusive of time for questions.  For the main conference, the length should be 75 minutes, inclusive of time for questions.

Yes, but a 60-day notice is required so that the Program Committee can find a replacement for the presenter’s slot.

A maximum of two speakers are allowed per workshop.

A panel can consist of no more than three (3) panelists and one (1) moderator. Please note that each proposal will only receive up to two (2) comped registrations, regardless of the number of individuals included in the proposal. We encourage individuals to consider the time constraints of their proposal when determining how many people to include in a proposal.

Yes, you can request additional speakers or panelists by contacting the Programming Committee co-chairs: Valerie Vickers (valerie.vickers@jpchase.com)  and Teresa Salinas  (teresa.salinas@cerner.com).  All requests will be evaluated by the Programming Committee.  Additional speakers or panelists can only be utilized if the Program Committee approves in writing and in advance of the presentation.

A maximum of two (2) complimentary registrations are provided for each workshop. This is the maximum number of complimentary registrations, even if the Program Committee approves additional speakers or panelists.

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Does the complimentary registration for presenters include any other Conference items?” open=”no” class=”” id=””]

Yes, presenters can attend sessions, meals, and receptions at no charge. If your proposal is selected for presentation during the main Conference (Monday through Wednesday), you will not receive a complimentary registration for Pre-Conference (Sunday).  Speakers who are selected to present during the Pre-Conference will receive complimentary registration for both the Pre-Conference and main Conference. The complimentary registration does not include the Tuesday Gala event and/or any extra evening events.

No, all travel related expenses, like hotel and transportation, and personal expenses are the responsibility of the presenter(s). The complimentary registration only covers the cost of registration for the event.

No.  Distribution of promotional, advertisements, marketing, or other commercials are NOT permitted for distribution or as part of the presentation.

No, you MUST use the NILG provided presentation deck.  A template will be provided to selected presenters.
